To start, stand with your feet about shoulder-width apart. Have your arms at your sides with a free weight in each hand. Bring them up so that they’re bent with the forearms and bent upper arm parallel to the body. Then push it out like you’re trying to be a bird flapping your wings up to about the height of your shoulders. Hold it there for about five seconds before slowly coming back in. This will help you get the most out of it and you will be able to maintain a good chest strength. If you want to try a challenge with this, you can use heavier weights or you can hold it for longer, and if you really want to work it out instead of bending them just bring them all the way up to the shoulder level with your arms completely straight. Hold it for about five seconds before bringing them down to your sides once again. It’s a great way to make you stronger and help build up those chest muscles.
